Editorial: Australian Vogue September 2008
I snatched this scan from Abbey Lee Kershaw's editorial at the September 2008 issue of Australian Vogue with Abbey herself on the cover. In this photo, Abbey is wearing Louis Vuitton's Wool Felt and Tulle Dress ($5,900) and shoes ($1,400), both from Louis Vuitton's Fall 2008 show. I think the editorial gave justice to the dress which, by the way, looks stunning with it's see though fabric and structured sillhouette. The shoes, on the other hand, really fits the whole look. Two thumbs up for Australian Vogue! Grab your copy now!

© I LVOE LV Louis Vuitton Monogram Pulp BandanaMy sensors have been ringing madly since I first saw this Monogram Pulp Bandana which is drawn by the American artist, Richard Prince who Marc Jacobs has collaborated with for Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2008 collection. This scarf reminds me of the Monogram Pulp Weekender bags, the pattern used is very similar. Maybe that's the reason why this bandana is called Pulp.. :D Anyway, The Monogram Pulp Bandana comes in 100% cotton canvas which is ideal for everyday use. It features Louis Vuitton Paris print in bright blue paint over the stained yellow background. This bandana measures 21.6" x 21.6" and is available at Louis Vuitton for $170. I hope and pray that this would be part of the permanent scarf collection. I'm dying to have one! Image via Louis Vuitton© I LVOE LV Louis Vuitton Mini Lin Croisette Marina
Cruise 2009 bags will be hitting the shelves this Thanksgiving and the Cruise 2008 items will be wiped out. So there's still a bit of time before this happens so hurry and grab a Monogram Mini Lin Croisette Marina now! Made in Monogram Mini Lin Croisette canvas, the Marina GM bag is both supple and very delicate. Its basically a Mini Lin bag but with stripes that pays homage to the traditional trunks of the House which is initially decorated with striped canvas. The Marina's silhouette looks similar to that of the Tivoli because of the distinct pleat on the bag's canvas. The bag has these stunning golden brass pieces and zippered closure accentuating the total look. It can be hand-held or carried across the body thanks to the adjustable and removable leather strap. The Marina measures 18.9" x 11.8" x 5.5", available at Louis Vuitton for $1,680. Image via Louis Vuitton© I LVOE LV Welcome to www.ilvoelv.com!Yay! Huh! Louis Vuitton Watercolor Jamais
The Jamais is part of the Monogram Watercolor Collection by Richard Prince which is shown in Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2008 show. From all the bags in Watercolor, the Jamais has the most unique look, only part of it is made from Monogram Watercolor canvas while the remaining part is made from supple calf leather. Vintage inspiration and soft leather characterize the Jamais with its chic, urban look.
The Jamais can be closed using the flap closure at the top and can also be locked using the LV padlock. It has patch pocket and cellphone compartment in the inside which is very helpful in organizing stuff. One special thing about the Jamais is the it hasa Richard Prince emblem in the inside, just like a work of art. It can be carried in the shoulder or used as handbag, measures 19.7" x 8.6" x 11.8", available at Louis Vuitton for £1,830 or approx. $3,385. Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2008 Ad Campaign featuring Naomi Campbell and the Watercolor Jamais
There is also a very limited edition version of the Jamais, and it's made from Ostrich leather and Watercolor canvas. Here's more info about it:
Louis Vuitton's new Richard Prince bag to benefit Serpentine Gallery Tuesday, May 27, 2008 (LONDON) Will Louis Vuitton's artistic endeavors ever cease? The French fashion and accessories house, which tapped Richard Prince to design a collection of handbags for spring, is offering a limited-edition style to celebrate the artist's first major UK solo exhibition from June 26 to September 7, entitled "Continuation," at the Serpentine Gallery. Only 50 of the ostrich and canvas Jamais bags are available, each numbered and signed by the artist. They will be sold exclusively at Vuitton's Sloane Street store in London during Prince's solo show. Priced at 9,000 pounds, or about $17,800, a portion of proceeds from the Jamais bags will benefit the Serpentine.
In honor of the occasion, Vuitton artistic director Marc Jacobs and Yves Carcelle, Vuitton's chairman and chief executive officer, will host a dinner for 120 guests on June 24. The evening will unfold in a tent-inspired by the venue Vuitton erected in Paris last October to stage its Spring 2008 runway show. Preceding the dinner will be an "art talk" between Prince and Tim Marlow of White Cube gallery.
So, would you dare buy this 18-thousand dollar bag? If only I have the money, I'd be one of the lucky 50 who would have this treasure!

LV Princess Heidi Montag with Spencer PrattLouis Vuitton Pochette Bonbon Rose
You might remember that in my old posts, I've said that Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2008 show is the BEST show ever. I totally loved everything about it including the Bonbon bags! The Pochette Bonbon Rose is one of le résultat of the collaboration between Marc Jacobs and Richard Prince. In the show, there are lots of Bonbon-like prototypes that vary in color, sizes and leathers but unfortunately, only the Pochette Bonbon Rose is made into production. It comes in two colors; Green and Pink which is really refreshing with it's very mischievous colors. Like the Watercolor bags, the Bonbon's Monogram patterns are also stamped and smudged which looks so quirky but is very Parisian chic. These pochettes are made from Monogram Bonbon patent leather. The microfiber lining contrasts with the bags color; for example, a Pink Bonbon bag has a Green inside lining while the Green Bonbon bag has Pink inside lining. It also has a patent leather luggage tag and the handle straps are adjustable. The Pochette Bonbon Rose measures 13" x 8.3" x 2.8" and is available at Louis Vuitton for £790 or approx. $1,460. Image via Louis Vuitton© I LVOE LV Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage Speedy 35
Camouflage is the new black, of course in the case of Takashi Murakami's Monogramouflage for Louis Vuitton. The Speedy, one of the most classic bags of the House is re-invented, the dark brown background has been replaced by a very urban camouflage pattern bringing a whole lot of attitude to the bag. The Monogramouflage Speedy 35 is made from Monogramouflage canvas, the handles are natural cowhide leather/vachetta and the black straps are made from jute canvas. Because of the black jute straps that go right around the bag, the Speedy really looks like the Keepall, but just smaller in size. One special feature in the Monogramouflage Speedy is it's luggage tag. It's stamped with " Monogramouflage, Edition limitée, Takashi Murakami, Louis Vuitton" which makes you feel so good because it says Limited Edition in your face! The bag measures 7.1" x 9" x 13.8" and is available at Louis Vuitton for $1,580. Image via Louis Vuitton© I LVOE LV Ashee Simpson's Monogramouflage TreillisHere's Mrs. Wentz in the airport with her Monogramouflage Treillis (which is, by the way, tops my wishlist). Il est superbe, très magnifique!! The Treillis is part of the Monogramouflage collection by Takashi Murakami. Available at Louis Vuitton for $1,610. To know more about the Treillis, check it out here. © I LVOE LV Taking Care: Monogram Multicolore
The Monogram Multicolore is the result of the collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami back in 2003 and up to now, the Multicolore bags and accessories are still being enjoyed by Louis Vuitton fans worldwide. The Monogram patterns in the Multicolore comes in 33 unique colors. It also comes in two canvas colors; White and Black. It's probably one of the House's most successful product because it reaches out to those who are used to the brown/tan Monogram color scheme and are open to new and exciting changes of the iconic pattern. With time, the canvas may slightly fade, revealing the canvas background. But there's nothing to worry about, this phenomenon is natural and does not deteriorate the quality and durability of the product. Here are some tips to help you take care of your bag, small leather good, or accessory and make it live for many years: Tip #1: Avoid exposing your bag, small leather good or accessory to sunlight coz the silk-screen printing colors may fade. Bright and light colors are particularly sensitive to light, due to the pigments used.
Tip #2: When not in use, store your item in the felt pouch/dust bag provided with your purchase to protect it from dust, insects and other nasty and harmful elements..
Tip #3: Prevent your bag from humidity and keep it away from direct sources of heat such as radiators, inside of cars during summer, etc.
Tip #4: Avoid prolonged contact with any material that may transfer its color pigments onto the coated canvas (magazines, other leathers) particularly the white canvas; any color migration on the light canvas is definitive.
Tip #5: Light coated canvases are permeable to grease and make-up. Although they are easier to soil than the other canvases, they are easy to clean: you can wipe the coated canvas with a light and soft cloth.
Tip #6: In the event of a problem, do not hesitate to contact any Louis Vuitton store to be able to receive further support from the setback you are experiencing.
I hope this guide will help you take care of your Monogram Denim bags. If you have any tips that you want to share, you may comment or contact me anytime.

Dress up your bags with the Pastilles Chains Key Ring! It's part of the Pastilles collection which has pretty pastel-coloured enamel charms hanging from the golden brass chain. Along with the enamels, this key chain and bag charm also features an LV padlock and Monogram flower motifs. It comes in two colors Pink and Brown but IMO, Pink is so much sweeter! If you'd hang it in your bags (whether in Monogram, Damier, Watercolor, etc), it would definitely pop out and looks so attractive! Available at Louis Vuitton for $450. It's covered in different sized Monogram flowers and the Louis Vuitton signature in the corners, the silk Mini Square Sweet Flower is the absolut feminine accessory. I'm a guy but I'm definitely addicted with this carré and other scarves from Louis Vuitton and Hermès. I really want to collect scarves to frame and display it as art. It's an instant interior decoration! But of course, you can always use this as a scarf or shawl. Image via Louis VuittonTechnorati Tags: © I LVOE LV Louis Vuitton Conspiration Pilote Sunglasses I drool when I think about the Evidence Sunglasses coz it's just plain gorgeous. I would love to have a pair and I would feel like I've had the best sunnies in the world. But before my obsession with Evidence, there's the Conspiration I was dreaming about. Louis Vuitton's Conspiration Pilote is a very unique pair of aviator sunglasses because of it's exclusive Monogram Photochromique lenses that darken in bright sunlight to reveal the Monogram pattern. It uses the innovative photo-chromatic technology which is today's very best. When you look close at the sunnies' hinges, it evokes the traditional trunk of the House which makes this sunglasses still very cohesive with what the House is all about. If you are concerned that you about the peek-a-boo Monogram pattern in the lenses, well there's nothing to worry about. When you use the Conspiration Pilote, you'd see what you're supposed to see. There would be no Monogram pattern blocking your eyesight, and that's how cool the photo-cromatic technology is! The Conspiration Pilote Sunglasses is available at Louis Vuitton for $530. Image via Louis Vuitton© I LVOE LV Who Wears It Better? Keira or Anabela
Who wore the Louis Vuitton's Fall 08 Wool Dress with Embroidered Neckline better? Keira Knightly or Anabela Belikova? Well, I'm so indecisive right now. I honestly can't compare. The dress looks gorgeous in both of them. Anabela looks very Parisian chic while Keira's got that feel old Hollywood glamour. I love 'em both! The Wool Dress is featured in US Vogue's September 2008 issue with Keira Knightly on the cover along with other LV Fall items so you might want to grab a copy. The Speedy in Damier Canvas will now come in size 35. As we all know, the Monogram Speedy comes in sizes 25, 30, 35 and 40. But unfortunately, the Damier version only comes in 25 and 30. Many have wished that LV would add size 35 on Damier and Louis Vuitton did not disappoint. The Damier Speedy 35 both in Ebony and Azur will debut on September 1 along with the other new and upcoming bags and accessories including the Mahina L, Vernis Zippy Organizer, Vernis Zippy Coin Purse. September 1 would surely be a great day for LV lovers! I can't wait!

© I LVOE LV Louis Vuitton Angel Night Sandal
My Mum is really picky in terms of footwear. She never wears pumps, sneakers, or flats, all she lusts about are sandals, well, here's something she'd be drooling over! The Angel Night Sandal. The name itself is definitely heavenly! These jewel sandals in leather, karung (water snake) and satin features an intricate patchwork of Monogram flowers, further embellished with hand-embroidered beads and Swarovski strass. It's absolutely a feast of the eyes! It has a 4-inch heel that's covered with satin and the sole is made from top quality leather. In my opinion, the Angel Night Sandal looks really stunning, and really fancy too! It's avaiable at Louis Vuitton for $1,520.

© I LVOE LV Minor Update: August 19 Price IncreaseHiya! Yesterday, August 19, Louis Vuitton had yet another price increase. The items affected were the bags, wallets and small accessories; mostly leather goods. I have been updating my blog like crazy, I've got tons of posts that are now erroneous in terms of prices. So I would like to ask for your understanding about this matter. Right now, I'm still changing the prices of the items i've featured here in I LVOE LV and I'm expecting to be finished tomorrow. If you would see a post that has a wrong price in it, please don't mind contact me, I might have missed it coz I'm a bit sleepy now... ;D © I LVOE LV Bengt Conseils #1: What to Buy With $1000?
Here's the first Bengt Conseils mail that I recieved last week. It's from Mae who have a dilemma on what bag to buy with a thousand bucks. Here's her mail: Hi Bengt!
I love your blog and I find it really informative, thanks for keeping I LVOE LV alive! Anyway, I would just like to ask your opinion on my dilemma of sort. Hmm, here's the thing. I'm a college student and I'm planning to buy my first LV to use it as my school bag. Unfortunately, I have a budget of only $1000 'coz I've used up my money for books and rent. What bags would you suggest with my limited budget? I really fancy Damier coz I think the Monogram is too flashy for me. Please help.. I will truly appreciate it.
xoxo, Mae Hi Mae, thanks for the mail. With your limited budget of $1000, you can have a lovely bag in a decent size. Here are the two bags i've picked for you: the Beaubourg in Damier Canvas and Neverfull MM in Monogram Canvas. I know you'll be asking these questions: Why Beaubourg in Damier Canvas?I picked the Damier Beaubourg because I think that it's a bag fit for a college student. Its a lovely shopper tote that measures 14.1" x 14.9" x 4.7", pretty roomy and most importantly, a laptop can fit in! You won't also have to worry about a vachetta coz this bag has none. So it's a hassle free and ready-to-go bag. $865 Why Neverfull MM in Monogram Canvas?I know you said that you don't like the Monogram Canvas but as of now, the Neverfull only comes in Monogram. The Damier version has been released in Japan and Hawaii months ago but it's not available in mainland USA until early spring next year. Anyway, the Neverfull is also a very nice bag and you can put lots of stuff in it. It's spacious and very versatile. $700 If you will buy any of the two bags I've suggested, you will still have extra money for a bandeau that would be a perfect accessory for your bag.I hope I helped you out in choosing your first LV. Please do let me know if you've made your decision! :D If any of you want to seek advice, you can visit Bengt Conseils to learn more! Image via Louis Vuitton© I LVOE LV 2boys1blog - Fashion Blog
